Catalyst Cayuga, formerly known as The Human Services Coalition of Cayuga County, is an independent not-for-profit organization that strengthens and supports not for profit organizations so our community can thrive. By building leadership, partnership, and capacity, organizations can better meet shared challenges, quickly identify barriers to service provision, and most effectively meet community needs.

Are you new to not-for-profit board service? Looking to enhance your skills as a board member? As an Executive Director, needing tips to work better with your Board?
Built around the ten basic responsibilities of not-for-profit boards, this workshop will review the essential roles and functions of governing boards. It will provide hands-on resources to enhance your knowledge and strengthen your effectiveness. We will explore scenarios that may emerge at the board table and learn from each other. Presented by Cindy Wilcox, Catalyst Cayuga Board President.

Our monthly Network meetings are held at 8:30am every Third Wednesday at Lyons National Bank, Grant Ave. Branch
Are you an executive director looking to get together with your peers? Considering dropping by the community room at Lyons National Bank for our monthly Not-For-Profit Leaders Group. This is a space only for executive to promote sharing resources, challenges and emotional support.
Not only is this a chance to network, it’s a chance to connect with others in similar positions. We know that leaders are busy, so we keep the agenda open, and promote a drop in model that allows for people to come based on their schedule.
